I Wish to Get My Master's Degree in Europe or North America

I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist and to get licensed to perform Medical Laboratory Tests on patients and patient samples, I did a 5 year Bachelor's degree course. I wish to further my education and my qualifications geta Masters degree, but I want to get this degree in Europe or North America. I'm still figuring out how to achieve this seeing that I live in Nigeria and the cost of overseas education can be overwhelming. I hope I get the breakthrough that I seek. This is Toochukwu Thinking Out LOud!

I Have An Idea To Write A Cook Book

Well, everyone eats. I'm Nigerian and I know some of my countrymen living in the diaspora would like to know how to prepare out native dishes and enjoy the rich culture of my country wherever they may be living across the world. So, I am going to create a cookbook on how to cook at least 15 native Nigerian soups. Well, I will do this and publish it on my Amazon KDP platform. I'm always thinking out loud and this is one of the platforms from which I do the thinking. Lol. Y'all will be hearing more of me this time around...😃 Image Source

Is There Enough Time To Achieve All My Goals?

I have a goal to study Electronics Engineering. Perhaps a diploma. I have a goal to get a master's degree. I have a goal to be a USD millionaire. I have a goal to do Sky-diving. I have a goal to visit a third of all the countries on earth. I have a goal to have kids and raise a family.

Happy Birthday To Me!!!!

Well, Hip Hip Hip... Hooray! Tomorrow, 3rd July, 2020, is my birthday anniversary. I don't know exactly how I'm feeling.  Have I achieved all the goals I set out to achieve in my life before 30? Have I been spending time doing things that don't add much value to my life in the long term? I guess I will have to take stock. Birthdays are days of joy, but I believe they should be days of reflection too. I will take some time tomorrow to reflect and to re-strategize. I plan on living the best possible life that I've always dreamed about, and in my lifetime, I WILL make it happen. Happy Birthday Leonard :-)  image source

All Your Experiences Make You Who You Are!

Hello guys,  Let me discuss briefly something very important and that is experience. We all have passed through many experiences in our lives and sometimes, we tend to regret or wish that something else happened instead of the other. The truth is that living in regret or in the past is the worst kind of state to live in. The past is forever gone and cannot be changed. The future is filled with possibilities and opportunities.  Those experiences you had shaped your life. They made you what you are. They taught you all you know. They shaped your current personality. I want to encourage you to embrace those experiences that you had. The people you met. The things you learned. Learn to make life fun and interesting. Love your memories. Create new memories and experiences and live the best life you know how to. Fear is a debilitating emotion. Overcome it. Boldness will lead you to achieve the life of your dreams. Go for it. You only live once, you know. Make your life count for the...

One Of The Best Exercises In My Opinion!

That is swimming! Hello guys... I went swimming today with some friends and we had loads and loads of fun. I engaged in swimming races with lots of swimmers and I was the first position every time. I am a very good swimmer to a large extent now. I feel confident and happy. I feel so tired. All my body is aching and that is a good sign for me. It means I worked out and my body will heal and become stronger and better. I recommend swimming once a week to everyone reading this. If you don't know how to swim, engage a friend or a trainer who is good at swimming to teach you. Have fun and have a smashing week ahead. Remember, every work you do at your job in the coming week is a trademark with which you will be identified. Always be identified with excellence and confidence. Go conquer your world. image source

Taking Action!

Hello guys, I discovered in life that taking action and figuring it out as you go on is one of the best advice you can imbibe, so I'm going to make this one short and straight to the point. What is it that you've been meaning to do or achieve? Take action. Take a step towards getting something done in that respect. Do not get stuck in the planning phase. Take some action. Do something. Search some internet pages. Call someone. Send an email. Make some inquiries. Get some information. Above all take action.  We will not regret the things we do as much as we will regret the actions that we didn't take.  Take action today! image source

Don't Be A Follower, Be a Student

I was listening to an old audio program by the legendary Jim Rohn when I heard the above nugget. Being a student involves thinking and researching for one's self. I am learning to be a student of life, not a follower of everything shoved around my way. I am learning to ask questions. I am learning to doubt except there is overwhelming evidence to prove the contrary. This is me being a student. This is me being mature. It's a quick one, so, before I sign out, I will drop a quote below that motivates me. I hope it inspires you too. Have a smashing life.

Why Hesitate?

Hello guys. Today, I want to blog about hesitation and it's from the book that I have been reading for a while. The title of the book is, 'The Power of Focus' by authors of Chicken Soup for the Soul series, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen and Less Hewitt. A chapter in the book was talking about hesitation and how procrastination and delaying action can lead to unfulfilled goals and dreams. Why hesitate? So says the paragraph. Upon the plains of hesitation are the bleached bones of countless millions who on the threshold of victory sat down to wait, and in waiting they died.                                           George W. Ceci While reading this book, this quote made so much significance to me that I decided to share it here. Is there anything you're planning to do? Is there anything that's in your heart like a goal, a dream, a vision a challenge, or something you want t...

Make Time For Some Rest

Hello guys. Having a job is difficult. At my place of work, we work from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and it's not funny because we work 6 times a week I discovered that there is so much the body can take which is what motivated this post today. I want to encourage you to take time out to rest if you have a very tight work schedule like I do. Try to allocate time for adequate sleep and rest. Allocate time for recreation. Since your work is taking so much of your time, it means you have to cut out sometime from other non-essential activities. You know what those activities are. Cut time out from all those activities and invest more time into rest, meditation and sleep. This is my power idea for tonight. It's been a long day and I'm happy to make this blog post today. Before I sign out here is an important quote. I hope it motivates you as much as it motivates me I wish you smashing success...

What Is Your Morning Routine?

Hello guys. I got to know about early morning routines some time ago. I came to understand that what you do within a few hours of waking up can determine how the rest of your day goes. After realising this I decided to change my morning routine. Instead of just waking up, and bathing and moving out, I decided to add some motivating and interesting things to do in the morning before I leave for work. I needed to be motivated to keep doing my best both at work and in my personal life. To achieve this goal I went to YouTube and downloaded so many motivational and inspirational videos From now on I now play these videos every morning while I'm preparing for work. I can be listening to these interesting motivational and inspirational talks to prepare me for the day and for the week. I know that I am going to become a very important person the nearest feature so I need to train myself in achieving that goal. In addition to this, I do some exercise routines, some stretches an...

I'm Learning More About The Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind as I'm currently learning is very powerful. I am coming to the understanding that big life's decisions are better left to be handled by the subconscious mind as it is well suited and has a better and stronger neural network to handle such activities. Wow. Do you understand the implication of this? I read about some research on the subconscious mind and according to the research, subjects who had a long walk in nature after being exposed to a challenge had a higher capacity and actually performed better at high value and important tasks later on than subjects who did not. WHAT IS THE IMPLICATION OF THIS Here are what I will do from now on: I will research more about how to train my subconscious mind. I will work more on it. I will hand over more problems to my subconscious mind and I will trust that I will figure it out. I will spend more time on relaxation and meditation. I will avoid stress and mental bogging. I will set more goals and giv...

An Important Lesson I Learned Today At Work

I'm a Medical Laboratory Scientist. I've been working with a diagnostic company for the past six months. Working with different people is interesting. You get exposed to different mindsets and different characters and guess what, most of us are just the same in some way. Let me explain. I came to the understanding that most people (not all, but most) like to come to you only with problems. This applies to work and also in relationships and other spheres of life too. When people understand that you are willing and able to help, whenever they have difficulties, you will be the first on their mind. They always remember you when they have issues and in no other way. They, in some way, use you to achieve what they want to achieve, after which they discard you and move on with their lives and jobs. I have been on the receiving end of this for the most part and this is due to my quick willingness to help, sometimes to my own detriment, wasting my own valuable time, energy a...

I Just Finished Reading About Mike Adenuga's House At Banana Island

Hi guys, Here's me coming back from work, a stressful day. I had dinner and relaxed browsing on my phone till I came across an article about Mike Adenuga, one of the richest Nigerians who owns majority shares in Globacom, a Telecom Giant I saw a picture of his house at Banana Island Lagos. Home of Nigerians most wealthy people. Men, I was more than motivated. The money being spent by these dudes on these properties is mind-blowing. Goodness! The land alone costs around a Million Dollars per plot. And according to estimates, It cost Adenuga close to 20 Million Dollars to build the estate. Jeez!!! Men. I am working hard to become wealthy. I need to figure out ways to create value and make money.  Here's a picture of the estate of Mike Adenuga. I hope it motivates you to become more than you currently are and to make more money than you currently do so you can buy and own the pleasurable things of life. To your success.

The Consistency Circle IDEA From 'The Power of Focus'

Gentlemen and ladies, success is not an accident. I have been reading a book titled 'The Power of Focus' by the Chicken soup for the soul guys. I'm enjoying the experience and I'm learning so many new lessons and ideas. Here's one I got. I hope you learn something interesting from it. It's called being consistent. Success won't come to you on your first attempt or the fourteenth attempt. Success in life and work comes from getting good habits and doing those things with consistency. That is the lesson guys. See you tomorrow with another powerful and great idea.

I'm Blogging More About My Life

Well, this is my personal blog isn't it? I made a goal to drop at least a blog post every single day no matter how short. I am going to be sharing my life, my lessons and my experiences. Welcome to this new phase of Toochukwu Leonard 😄😄
