Today is 6th December 2021 and a few moments ago, I booted up my Mac and it came on without effort. That was after hours of fiddling and working with it on the hardware aspect.
WHAT HAPPENED?
I went on a trip for about 4 months and during that time, I didn't get to use my Mac. I had to give it to someone before I left and it was idle to the best of my knowledge.
After getting the laptop back, I noticed that the trackpad button needed the power of Thanos in order to get it to respond.
I toured the web seeking results and I got a video on YouTube that detailed what to do. I then got to work and in the process of unscrewing the laptop trackpad, I stripped the trackpad screws.
I was confused. I didn't know how to get it open. I coupled it back on hoping that it may have started working again, but the problem still persisted.
THAT WAS WHEN I GOT THE INGENIOUS IDEA.
I had a penknife, and the ingenious idea I had was to use the penknife to try to physically shift and turn the screw because the stripped screws were too small to even attempt to implement the ideas I saw on YouTube.
GUESS WHAT? THE IDEA WORKED
I got to unscrew the stripped screws and fix the trackpad buttons.
Hooray! I got my MacBook Pro working again in perfect condition.
